Tasty Curls - Immune Boosting Smoothie Bowl

A colourful, health-boosting treat

We've teamed up with plant-based recipe developer @tastycurls to create this delicious smoothie filled with nourishing ingredients to help us avoid getting sick and maintain a healthy immune system. ⁠

Ingredients

2-3 ripe frozen banana

1 ripe mango

3-4 oranges

1/2 cup frozen pineapple

1 tsp turmeric

1/2 thumb ginger

1 tsp flax seeds

50ml aloe vera juice (optional) Alternatively, 50ml plant-based milk or water

Toppings

Cherries

Toasted coconut flakes

Desiccated coconut

Orange slices

Dried mulberries

Chia seeds

Instructions

  1. Place all the smoothie ingredients into a high speed blender and blend until smooth. If you would like a thicker texture, add more frozen pineapple.
  2. If you don’t have aloe vera juice, pour in 50ml of water or plant-based milk instead.
  3. Pour smoothie into a bowl and add as many toppings as you like.
